Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing multiple new sexual assault and rape accusations as five civil lawsuits have been filed against him in the Southern District of New York by attorney Tony Buzbee. The suits involve allegations of sexual assault or rape by Combs in separate incidents between 2000 and 2022, with two of the plaintiffs being men and three being women, including one woman who claims Combs raped her when she was 13 years old. Combs is also accused of drugging one of the men and the three women involved in the suits. Buzbee plans to file a total of seven suits against Combs as more evidence is gathered.
Combs’ legal team has denied all accusations against him, including those in the previous lawsuits filed by Buzbee. Combs is currently being held without bail at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn on federal racketeering and sex trafficking charges, with his criminal trial set to start on May 5. Federal prosecutors are examining data from over 90 devices seized at Combs’ properties during raids and his arrest.
In response to the new lawsuits, Combs’ legal team has requested that his accusers in the sex trafficking case be publicly identified for preparation of a proper defense. Despite previous allegations, including one from former girlfriend Casandra Ventura that was settled, Combs continues to deny all accusations against him. His legal team has filed an appeal to fight his bail denial, and more individuals, such as Dawn Richard from the girl group Danity Kane, have come forward with allegations against Combs.
