Hall of Fame wide receiver Randy Moss revealed on Sunday that he is facing a serious health issue. He did not provide specifics about the illness but urged men to get their blood work done. Moss made the announcement on Instagram while on the set of “Sunday NFL Countdown” with former coach Rex Ryan and retired quarterback Alex Smith. He was seen wearing sunglasses, which he explained was due to his health battle. Moss played 14 seasons in the NFL for various teams and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2018. He asked for prayers from fans and expressed gratitude for his doctors and family. Health experts recommend regular screenings for conditions such as colon cancer, prostate cancer, heart disease, diabetes, blood pressure, and cholesterol for adults over a certain age. Moss, a native of Rand, West Virginia, and a Marshall University alumnus, asked for privacy while dealing with his health issue but requested prayers from his supporters.
