Ghostly vessel crashes onto the shores of a New Jersey beach

A mysterious “ghost ship” has run aground on a New Jersey beach after being spotted adrift in Sandy Hook Bay over the weekend. The 32-foot 1984 bay liner named “Linda T” was found deserted with a severed mooring line and damage to its port side. Witnesses had reported seeing the boat adrift in the waters off Sandy Hook Bay before it grounded itself on the beach.

The National Park Service and the U.S. Coast Guard are now working together to remove the boat and investigate the situation. Fortunately, no one was on board the vessel when it was discovered on Monday morning. Authorities are still trying to determine how the boat ended up being deserted and adrift in the bay. Residents and visitors are advised to steer clear of the area where the grounded ship is located until further notice.
