According to Abbott, the implementation of this technology has significantly reduced response times in Franklin County by 40-50 percent. Despite financial challenges, grant funding and support from vendors have made it possible for the county to bring this cutting-edge technology to its community.
Officials emphasize the importance of training dispatchers to use the new service efficiently, with online training available in less than a day.
