The Fulop for Governor campaign has announced three more Assembly candidates who will run alongside Democratic gubernatorial candidate Steven Fulop in this year’s Primary Election. Marisa Sweeney, Dave Luciano, and Philip Nufrio will join Team Fulop as they focus on creating genuine change for New Jersey. The campaign aims to prioritize the people over the political establishment and run a policy-driven campaign.
Marisa Sweeney, a women’s wellness center owner, and community leader will run in Legislative District 25. Dave Luciano, who has worked in environmental policy and public service, will run in Legislative District 14. Philip Nufrio, with a background in public administration, will run in Legislative District 10. They join a growing roster of State Assembly candidates who support Fulop’s vision for a stronger New Jersey.
In addition to the Assembly candidates, three County Commissioner candidates have been announced from Bergen County. Former Palisades Park Mayor Chris Chung, former BCDO State Senate candidate John Vitale, and former Closter Councilwoman Dolores Witko will run alongside Fulop.
Team Fulop is focused on recruiting candidates who are committed to making a difference in their communities and advocating for important issues such as property tax relief for seniors, sustainable infrastructure, and climate crisis solutions. The campaign will continue to announce additional candidate endorsements in the coming weeks as they work towards a successful Primary Election.
