Dry and chilly weather is expected in New Jersey for the next two days before snow returns on Wednesday night. The National Weather Service predicts less than an inch of snow for most of the state, with Atlantic and Cape May counties possibly receiving 1 to 3 inches. There is a 35% chance of areas south of Atlantic City getting 2 inches or more. However, AccuWeather.com is more optimistic, forecasting 3 to 6 inches for most of South Jersey starting Wednesday night.
Tuesday will be windy with highs in the upper 20s, well below normal for this time of year. Temperatures will drop into the teens overnight. Wednesday will see a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures rising into the low 30s. The weekend will be dry with milder temperatures each day, reaching the low-to-mid 40s by Sunday.
