The weekend is expected to bring change with gusty winds

Fair weather is continuing in the area with mostly clear skies tonight, although some clouds may appear. Temperatures will be 5-10 degrees warmer than usual. A quick-moving storm in Michigan will bring mostly snow, but should stay north of New Jersey with some light snow possible in the Catskills and the Adirondacks.

Tomorrow will be sunny with highs in the low to mid-50s and a west-southwest wind. Saturday night will bring a cold front with below-normal temperatures and lows in the mid to upper teens on Sunday. Despite full sunshine, temperatures will barely reach above freezing.

Monday will remain chilly, but temperatures will warm up again for the rest of the week. There is a possibility of a stormy rain event on Wednesday, so it’s important to keep an eye on the weather maps. As for the upcoming St. Patrick’s Day parade in Belmar, paradegoers should dress in layers as strong winds will make it feel like the low 20s.
