IndiGo Collaborates with Amadeus to Transform Revenue Management through Innovative Technology

IndiGo has formed a strategic partnership with Amadeus to implement advanced Revenue Management technology, specifically the cloud-based Amadeus Segment Revenue Management Flex (Amadeus SRM Flex). This state-of-the-art system will enhance efficiency for IndiGo and support the airline’s rapid growth in India and internationally.

The new system seamlessly integrates with IndiGo’s Navitaire New Skies® Passenger Service System (PSS) through an advanced Revenue Management Integration Service, allowing for near real-time data exchange. The technology provides the airline with granular controls to make faster, smarter business decisions and drive automation, ultimately increasing operational efficiency and opening up new revenue streams.

Abhijit Dasgupta, Senior Vice President of Planning and Revenue Management at IndiGo, highlighted the system’s ability to streamline operations and support more sophisticated Revenue Management strategies to expand the airline’s network. The partnership with Amadeus will enable IndiGo to integrate its own data science and machine learning capabilities with Amadeus’ solutions to build a strong foundation for future expansion plans.

Javier Laforgue, Executive Vice President of the Travel Unit and Managing Director for Asia Pacific at Amadeus, expressed excitement about collaborating with IndiGo to maximize revenue opportunities and improve operational efficiencies. The modular, PSS-agnostic nature of Amadeus’ Revenue Management technology will allow IndiGo to seamlessly integrate it with current and future business solutions.

IndiGo, one of India’s fastest-growing airlines, currently operates over 400 aircraft with more than 2,200 daily flights connecting over 120 destinations. By selecting Amadeus SRM Flex, IndiGo is positioning itself for continued growth both domestically and globally.
