Men’s Volleyball Dominates Old Westbury with Straight Set Win


New Jersey City University’s men’s volleyball team showcased a dominant performance, sweeping Old Westbury in straight sets (25-23, 25-17, 25-22). The Gothic Knights outmatched the Panthers in kills, hitting percentage, assists, service aces, digs, and block assists. Sophomore Marcus Pardasie led NJCU with 12 kills and six digs, while senior Nate Aguilar added 10 kills and junior Alex Casias contributed 34 assists. Old Westbury was led by Liam Eisel and Ashel Santos, but ultimately could not match NJCU’s performance. The Gothic Knights took control early in the second set and finished strong in the third set, securing the victory. NJCU will look to continue their winning streak when they host Purchase on March 17.
