Former California resident, Anthony J. Tremayne, pleaded guilty to mail fraud for selling fake celebrity memorabilia, including forged signatures of the Kardashians and President Donald Trump. Tremayne made between $250,000 and $550,000 selling the phony merchandise from 2010 to 2019. He advertised nationwide, claiming the signatures were genuine. When FBI agents seized some of the bogus material in 2014, Tremayne complained, questioning why the authorities were targeting him. He sold items like a “Keeping up with the Kardashians” photograph with forged signatures and a photo of President Trump. Tremayne is scheduled to be sentenced on Aug. 11 and faces up to 20 years in prison. His defense attorney was unavailable for comment.
