The Burlington Township girls’ flag football team in New Jersey is making history as the first team in the Burlington County Scholastic League to host an in-season conference tournament for high school girls’ flag football. Girls’ flag football is the fastest-growing sport, with the number of participating schools increasing from 16 in 2021 to 98 in 2025.
