New Jersey Devils Shake Up Coaching Staff After Playoff Run
The New Jersey Devils are revamping their coaching team following their recent playoff appearance. The organization has confirmed that they will not be renewing the contracts of assistant coaches Ryan McGill and Chris Taylor, alongside head video coach Jerry Dineen and Utica Comets’ assistant coach David Cunniff. McGill joined the team for the 2022-23 season, while Taylor has been with the Devils since the 2020-21 campaign.
The decision aligns with the team’s goal of enhancing performance after finishing the season with a record of 42-33-7, which enabled them to return to the playoffs after a brief absence.
