Diddy’s Attorneys Frame ‘Hotel Stays’ as Consensual Meetings

In the ongoing federal trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs, prosecutors have presented what they term “freak offs,” marathon sexual encounters characterized by drug use, as evidence of a broader criminal conspiracy. However, during the recent cross-examination of Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, referred to as “Jane,” the defense sought to portray these encounters as consensual.

On her fifth day of testimony, Jane disclosed that she sometimes initiated these “freak offs:” she vividly recounted decorating a room with rose petals and balloons, and confirmed that she suggested a “hotel night” involving herself, Diddy, and two other men, which excited Diddy. In a text message following a sexual encounter with Diddy and a sex worker, Jane expressed her enjoyment and appreciation for their relationship, stating she would “always make sure you are taken care of.” Her emotional testimony included expressing gratitude to Diddy as a “blessing” and noting that he brought joy to her child.

Additionally, Jane testified about encouraging Diddy to maintain sobriety and eat healthier, leading to a “sobriety party” without drugs, which she described as lasting between 12 and 18 hours, involving sex with three men. She shared feelings of resentment for her inability to decline Diddy’s requests and the complexities of their relationship.

On another front, the prosecution has moved to remove one juror from the trial, citing concerns of “lack of candor.” Amid courtroom proceedings, Diddy was observed appearing receptive to the audience, setting the tone for an evolving trial narrative. Jane is anticipated to resume her testimony tomorrow, further engaging in cross-examination.
