WINSLOW TOWNSHIP, NJ—A 27-year-old man lost his life while swimming in Penbryn Lake on Thursday afternoon, according to local authorities. Police were alerted around 3 p.m. to a possible drowning incident after witnesses reported that the man submerged and failed to resurface.
Immediately following the report, search and rescue operations were launched. After a thorough search, the victim’s body was recovered at approximately 4:05 p.m., close to the area where he was last seen.
