The Teamsters union announced that they will not be endorsing any presidential candidate, which is a setback for Kamala Harris as she becomes the first Democratic candidate in almost thirty years to not receive the endorsement of America’s largest union. Meanwhile, Harris is set to hold a livestream event with Oprah Winfrey in an effort to motivate people to vote. Winfrey expressed her intention to get people excited about the power of voting and praised Harris at the Democratic convention. On the other hand, President Trump is set to participate in an event focused on fighting antisemitism alongside Republican donor Miriam Adelson. The Trump campaign described him as a defender of religious freedom and strong supporter of Jewish communities. Additionally, Trump will speak at the Israeli-American Council’s national summit in Washington, D.C. This highlights the diverse campaign events and engagements taking place in the lead up to the presidential election.
