The Amazing Kreskin, the famous mentalist and frequent guest on “The Tonight Show,” passed away at age 89. His family announced his death on social media, asking for privacy. Kreskin, whose real name was George Kresge, was born in 1935 in Montclair, New Jersey, and rose to fame in the ’70s with TV appearances on shows like “The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson.” He had his own show, “The Amazing World of Kreskin,” which aired from 1972 to 1975. Throughout his career, he made predictions on various TV shows, wrote a book, and performed mentalist feats for audiences. He was known for predicting Super Bowl outcomes and presidential election results.

Kreskin continued performing well into his 80s, making over 300 appearances annually. He had prepared his own tombstone before his death, reflecting his unique approach to life and entertainment. His family revealed that he had planned to retire soon before his passing. In an interview, he expressed his passion for performing and said his retirement would come 10 days after he passed away. Despite his death, his family emphasized that his legacy would live on, as Kreskin often said in his shows, “This is not goodbye, but to be continued.” His friend and former manager, Ryan Galway, expressed his sadness over losing Kreskin, whom he had worked with for six years, and shared memories of their time together on social media.
