NJCCIC Announces Summer Cybersecurity Internship Programs for Students

The New Jersey Cybersecurity & Communications Integration Cell (NJCCIC) is inviting students from grades 3 to 12 to apply for its summer internship programs focused on cybersecurity careers. Applications are due by 5 p.m. on May 9.

For middle schoolers (grades 6-8), the 2025 NJCCIC Middle School Summer Cyber Safety Cadet Program will be held remotely from July 23-25, teaching participants about cybersecurity and its significance in today’s digital landscape. Similarly, elementary students (grades 3-5) can join the one-day Cyber Safety Patrol Program on July 11, where they will learn online safety skills.

High school students have two internship options: the High School Cybersecurity Basics Internship, a virtual week-long program from July 14-18, and the Advanced Cybersecurity Internship for those with prior experience, running from July 21 to October 2025.

Selection criteria for all programs require students to be enrolled in New Jersey schools for the upcoming academic year, show interest in cybersecurity, and meet specific application requirements. Interested students can find registration links on the NJCCIC website.
